• Since 2006, Africa Skills has successfully trained nearly 17,000 newly qualified Red Seal Artisans and is recognized as the leading provider of Artisan training in George. With a strong reputation for excellence, we offer over 20 QCTO, SETA, and SAQA accredited apprenticeships nationwide.

At our two training centers in George, GeorgeTech and Ntaka [Thembalethu] one can choose from a wide range of over 20 accredited integrated trade Artisan options. We also provide business and management courses, available both onsite and online.

The following full apprenticeship courses, with relevant part qualifications, are offered at our all-new Africa Skills GeorgeTech (York St & PW Botha Blvd):

Automotive Motor Mechanic, Diesel Mechanic, Boilermaker, Electrician, Mechanical Fitter, Millwright, Solar PV Technician & Welder.

At our Ntaka campus we train: Plumbers, Carpenters, Bricklayers, Assistant Handyperson, Domestic Water and Drainage Repairers, General Residential Repairers, Plumbing Hands, Basic Kitchen Appliance Repairers, Coded Welders, Hot and Cold-Water System Repairers, Renewable Energy Workshop Assistants and Shielded Metal ARC

Welders. We also offer ARPL, Artisan Recognition of Prior Learning, for experienced, yet not yet qualified artisans.
