Unfortunately, there are too many schools that need to go through fundamental change to deliver trainable future students and employees who will be a productive part of the formal sector. Your business can play a key role by having a manager partnering with the principal of a school and benefit from a facilitated change process; not to mention the SED BBBEE points and a S18A tax deduction. However the real benefit is your assigned manager will be better equipped to handle change. If you are not convinced on the need for change at 80% of SA schools look at the linked presentation for the reasons and a solution that you can play a key role in implementing locally. There will be mini workshops facilitated by the Founder, Louise Van Rhyn, about the School @ Centre of Community on 29th October 2012 in Mossel Bay at 1000, in George at Fancourt at 1300 and in Knysna at 1600. Spread the word to all your contacts in the Southern Cape and come along and participate in the discussion.
